BORN IN THE DESIGN STUDIO.

Kermit Labs was born out of a specific frustration. Growing up, founders Wells and Knox Childress watched their mother, Kara Childress, run a world-class interior design firm. They witnessed a recurring problem: clients struggled to say 'yes' to complex, high-value concepts simply because they couldn't visualize the final result.

We realized this wasn't just a design problem; it was a data problem. The disconnect between the physical product and the digital screen was killing conversion. We started Kermit Labs to fix that—first as a studio creating visuals, and now as a platform providing the infrastructure to manage them.

You can't scale high-end design with manual processes. To deliver engineering-grade quality at enterprise volume, we had to stop thinking like an agency and start thinking like architects.

We took our entire production workflow—ingestion, logic mapping, approval chains, and distribution—and hard-coded it into a platform. The Kermit Portal isn't just software; it is our entire operational methodology, digitized.
